Overview

This double degree allows you the flexibility to combine studies in psychology with a business major of your choice. Completion of a double degree provides you with the option to pursue a broad range of career pathways such as community service, human resource management, logistics and marketing. Combining studies in psychology and business means you will understand the behaviour of individuals in group and organisational settings.

This course comprises a Psychology and Business major, for a list of business majors please refer to the major studies tab below. You will also have the opportunity to undertake a work placement related to your studies.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Majors

Accounting, Event management, Human Resource Management, International Trade, Management and Innovation, Marketing, Psychology, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Potential Career Outcomes

Graduates of this double degree have the specialist knowledge and confidence to apply psychology principles within organisations. You will have broad career opportunities ranging from developing employee development programs to advising management on employee relations, leading organisational change and analysing consumer behaviour. You may find employment in a diverse range of sectors including community service, human resources, marketing, banking and finance, and government.
