Overview

The Bachelor of Public Administration has been designed in consultation with potential employers and aims to produce graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills to work in a wide range of jobs in the governmental sector and also in the non-profit and business sectors where they interact with government in the increasingly important policy, contractual and regulatory areas. Students will gain an advanced understanding of the values and processes of governance and the roles of the public sector, and will work with academics who have advised and provided analysis for local and national political leaders, and whose commentary is widely sought.Graduates may enter such fields as: policy analysis and advice, public administration, research, corporate communications, foreign affairs, intelligence, journalism, management, the parliamentary sector, and social analysis.
