Overview

Explore the importance of biological processes on human health and environmental well-being. This degree combines aspects of molecular biology, cell physiology and microbiology with new computational approaches to discover fundamental aspects of life. The course also provides students the opportunity to explore areas of biotechnology, forensic science, plant science, environmental health, and biomedical sciences. You will graduate well-prepared for a career in any life-science related field.

This course offers a flexible combination of molecular bioscience and life science topics and enables students to focus on the scientific basis of life. Students will explore the importance of diverse biological processes to enable mutual improvement in human and environmental wellbeing, and learn about new computational approaches to advance life sciences.

On completion of the degree students will be able to develop extensive knowledge in both the theoretical and the practical aspects of life sciences and complete coursework components designed to address topical concerns in health, industry and society preparing them for employment in related fields.
