Studying this Bachelor of Secondary Education will begin your journey to becoming a teacher   who truly makes a difference in the lives of adolescents. Underpinned by the belief that successful education focuses on development of the whole person, this degree will provide you with the knowledge, skills and experiences to be an effective teacher and create learning  environments where your students thrive.

The Bachelor of Secondary Education is a comprehensive undergraduate program that combines theory, the latest teaching technology, and opportunities for practical classroom experience. Working from a rigorous and practical curriculum, you will acquire the requisite academic and practical skills needed to teach early and late adolescents. You will be required to choose a first and second teaching area.

Supervised professional experience is an integral part of the program. During three placements in at least two different schools, you will teach in both your teaching areas as well as immerse yourself in the life of a school building strong relationships with students and staff.
