Overview

In the Bachelor of Social Science, students develop a strong grounding in social justice, policy research, and links to industry. The program provides a foundation in the practice-based skills, values and knowledge related to key social problems. Practical workforce skills include public policy design and evaluation, social impact assessment, public advocacy, social planning and research. Potential Career Outcomes

Students will be equipped with relevant and marketable skills including policy making and advocacy, public communication, cross-cultural awareness, report writing, project management and social research skills. These skills enable graduates to seek employment with organisations such as government departments, community service and advocacy agencies, healthcare providers, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and in the business/private sector.
