Overview

Become a fully qualified and internationally recognised veterinarian. Learn to diagnose, treat and prevent diseases and injuries in animals. Develop treatment skills across companion, domestic, exotic, wildlife and production animals. Access specialist animal facilities and gain skills and knowledge in veterinary medicine, surgery, anaesthesia and radiology. Students gain expert animal handling and clinical skills by spending their final year in hospitals and clinics. Receive comprehensive biomedical training which may lead to careers in research, industry and government. On graduation, students are eligible to register as a veterinary science practitioner in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong or Malaysia.
