Overview

This packaged option allows students to complete a Diploma in Arts through UniSA College as a direct pathway into the Bachelor of Primary Education (Honours) (SATAC Code: 444591).

This offering takes five years to complete through full-time study. Students complete the two-year diploma first and upon successful completion, will seamlessly transition into the second year of the Bachelor of Primary Education (Honours) and will be granted a year of credit.

In the first year of the diploma, you'll complete introductory courses in your disciplinary area of focus as well as core courses that will develop your critical writing, communication, numeracy, and research skills.

In the second year, you'll start studying first-year courses from your linked UniSA degree. You'll access the same lectures and tutorials as other first-year bachelor students, but you can rely on UniSA College for extra support. You can then continue studying for the degree as per the standard study plan.

Students who successfully complete both programs within this packaged option will graduate with both a diploma and a bachelor's degree.
