The Diploma in Engineering is a pathway program designed to help you successfully progress to the second year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). It provides you with the opportunity to study core foundational engineering units in a highly supportive learning environment with smaller class sizes and a more personalised learning journey. Beyond providing a broad grounding in engineering disciplines, you will also develop your academic skills for future study success. Upon successful completion of the Diploma, you will be able to articulate into the Bachelor of Engineering with 96 credit points of advanced standing and select your desired stream of study. Primary study areas include chemical and sustainable process, civil, computer and software systems, electrical, electrical and aerospace, electrical and renewable power, mechanical, mechatronics and medical engineering. Other specialisations are available from second year, allowing you to further tailor your course.

Combined diploma/degrees: Upon completion of the diploma component, you will be automatically offered a place in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). Each of your diploma units will be credited to the degree.
