Overview

The Diploma in Entrepreneurship aims to provide you with the opportunity to develop your entrepreneurial talent and capability while also providing a pathway into Business, Creative Industries and IT undergraduate degrees at QUT. With a strong focus on developing your entrepreneurial mindset, you will develop the the necessary capabilities to identify and grow entrepreneurial opportunities as well as how to plan, establish, lead and influence others while engaging with the broader entrepreneurship eco-system. Upon successful completion of the Diploma, you will be able to articulate into the Bachelor of Creative Industries with 96 credit points of advanced standing. Bachelor of Creative Industries sets you up with skills and experiences to create your own opportunities and career outcomes in the creative sector and beyond. Learn entrepreneurial and digital skills, take on real industry challenges through work integrated learning opportunities and establish links to creative start-ups. Choose a combination of study areas to suit your individual creative interests and career aspirations.

Combined diploma/degrees: Upon completion of the diploma component, you will be automatically offered a place in the single degrees of Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Communication, Bachelor of Creative Industries, and the Bachelor of Information Technology. Each of your diploma units will be credited to each degree.
