Overview

Prepare for a career as a creative professional in the arts, entertainment or media industry as a sound engineer and producer.

The entertainment and media industries are among the world's largest and fastest growing industries. Learn the theory and practice of studio and live sound engineering through practical activities involving session set-up and management, recording, mixing and post-production; complemented by theoretical studies of sound, acoustics, digital audio, and music. Students develop the foundation for either work in the industry, or can continue to further study (with credit of 24 units towards the Bachelor of Music (Sonic Arts)).
