The Diploma of Information Technology Fast Track provides students with access to the university experience within a supported context. Students are provided with a range of experiences and opportunities to engage with key disciplinary areas including programming, systems analysis and web technology.
Successful completion of the diploma provides entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Business Information Systems, the Bachelor of Computer Science, and the Bachelor of Information Technology, or first year of the Bachelor of Technology (with 18 credit points) at the University of Wollongong (UOW).
Diploma of Information Technology: Concepts and practice of object-oriented programming; fundamental database concepts and skills in the design and manipulation of relational databases; major information systems found in a typical business; structured programming; techniques and technologies of structured systems analysis.
