The core topics in the course will provide students with a strong foundation in digital and entertainment design, including: Essential multimedia, digital fundamentals, specialised workshops in art theory and practice, fundamental production and postproduction techniques in VFX, compositing, rotoscoping and digital painting techniques for live action, 2D tracking, keying and general audio-visual techniques such as editing and image acquisition.
On completion of this course students will be able to demonstrate conceptual, practical, and technical skills in the production of creative work and demonstrate knowledge of the processes involved in the production of creative work. Students will utilise judgement in identifying and solving problems of a digital design nature and apply knowledge and skills with responsibility and accountability and in collaboration with others.
