The Undergraduate Certificate in Education Studies is designed for people looking to explore a career in teaching but didn’t meet entry requirements to begin a teaching degree. This certificate will give you the opportunity to find out if teaching is the career for you. After successful completion of this certificate you may pathway to our Bachelor of Education Studies degree with six months credit and start your journey towards a rewarding career in teaching. Upon completion of your first year of the Bachelor of Education Studies, if you have maintained a good academic standard throughout the year, you may be eligible to apply for a transfer onto the second year of a Federation University teaching degree. This means you may still qualify as a VIT registered teacher within four years of study.
