If you're a sport enthusiast, La Trobe's sport management major gives you the skills to pursue a career in this exciting field.

Offered through La Trobe’s Bachelor of Business, this major explores sport-specific businesses through both theory and practical experience in the sports industry. You'll develop the skills to directly impact the success of sporting codes, competitions, organisations and teams.

With La Trobe's Bachelor of Business, you’ll develop solid foundations in business and learn how to thrive in a digitally disrupted world. You’ll gain foundational knowledge and enterprise skills in management, organisational structure, data analytics, ethical business practices and more. You'll have the flexibility to choose from a wide range of majors and minors, and the option to study from another discipline.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.
