Overview

This course provides you with an introduction to agricultural sciences alongside land and water management in today’s diverse and globally integrated agribusiness industries.

The agribusiness major introduces you to agricultural sciences (particularly their application to land and water management), along with management, marketing and finance in the context of agribusiness industries.

Four agribusiness subjects, each delivered at a different regional campus, will give you a unique insight into the operations of and issues faced by agribusinesses in different regions of Victoria. In effect, you’ll take a state-wide tour of regional Victorian agribusiness industries and communities, where you’ll meet and talk with local agribusiness and community leaders.

You’ll also have the opportunity to complete an agribusiness industry-based practicum, where you’ll get the chance to apply and demonstrate the skills you have acquired through the course.
