Overview

This degree focuses on leadership and management, leadership and change in a global context, innovative management and business ethics. Students will learn how to deal with complex issues, lead teams and make business decisions based on financial, marketing and human resources information.

This course consists of a common core in business, major studies in management, and the option to choose eight subjects from business or other disciplines including marketing, human resources, economics and finance and logistics.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.

Majors

Accounting and finance, Design (Business), Economics, Human Resource Management, International management, Leadership, Management, Marketing management.

Potential Career Outcomes

Graduates will be employed in a range of professional, commercial, industrial and not-for-profit organisations. With appropriate experience, they can expect to advance to management positions, equipped with the confidence and capabilities to coordinate and lead individuals to realise business outcomes.
