Overview

Consider the local, national and global aspects of crime and justice, and improve responses to crime and criminality, with the Bachelor of Criminology. You will learn about crime committed by individuals, groups, organisations and states, and the mechanisms of the criminal justice system, including police, courts and corrections. There are options to develop knowledge of specific criminal concerns, including hate crime, cybercrime, victimisation and perpetuation, transnational crime and organised crime. In your final year you’ll work with industry experts via a professional project.

You’ll also have access to Monash’s Flagship Rich Educational Experiences, a personal curation of experiences focused on the challenges defining our world and future. This includes the Global Immersion Guarantee,* an opportunity to spend two weeks studying in one of a variety of international destinations.
