Overview

The Bachelor of Design and Technology Innovation has been designed to provide an understanding of the theory and practice of design, product development, business and innovation skills. This degree provides a sound understanding of a science, engineering or technology discipline and the ability to apply existing knowledge to contribute to innovation and entrepreneurship within an organisation.

On completion of this degree students will be able to understand and competently use scientific, engineering or technological skills and knowledge in an environment in which innovation is essential.

This degree is recognised by the Design institute of Australia.

This degree prepares graduates for careers in product/service-based organisations. Potential occupations may include product designer, business development manager and innovation strategist; potential employers may include consultancy agencies, public and private organisations.
