Overview

Teach Years 7-12 in health and physical education, plus another subject of your choice. A double degree presents greater options. Potentially pursue a career outside schools in outdoor and environmental education centres, adventure tourism or ecotourism. In this program you will complete 80 days’ supervised experience in Queensland schools and 25 days’ outdoor environmental fieldwork, including expeditions to K'gari-Fraser Island. You'll learn in quality sport and exercise science laboratories, accredited by the National Sport Science Quality Assurance program at the Australian Institute of Sport. Choose from a range of disciplines for secondary teaching areas and graduate eligible to register with the Queensland College of Teachers.
