Offered through La Trobe's Bachelor of Health Sciences, you'll focus on positive psychology (e.g. mindfulness, gratitude and hope), communication and counselling skills, and principles of effective performance.

In La Trobe's Bachelor of Health Sciences, you'll examine the way our minds, our society and our environment – not to mention our political structures – affect the health of every individual, family and community. You'll learn how to use data as a powerful tool to improve the health of everyday people and develop the research skills to make a real impact.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.

Graduate with the transferable skills in analytical thinking, communication and problem solving you need for a range of careers in health, wellbeing and performance.
