Overview


Develop a strong foundation in the basic principles and techniques of mathematics, including abstract reasoning, highly sought after by a wide range of employers, as well as an understanding of how mathematics is applied in the real world. You will also develop communication and report writing skills to enhance your employability.

Receive up to $15,000 industry scholarship payment as well as gaining up to 26 weeks of valuable experience with Federation’s Industry Placement Program (IPP).

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in Maths: Mathematical Methods or at least 20 in Maths: Specialist Mathematics; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any English.
