Overview

This foundation course delivers fundamental knowledge, theory and understanding of different aspects of psychology. Explore a range of subjects to examine complexities of human thought and behaviour, including developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology, abnormal psychology, and personality. In addition to these core units, you may choose electives including biological, exercise and sports or environmental science, behavioural studies; business, history, indigenous studies, community and human services, criminal justice, literature, media and screen studies, outdoor and environmental education, sociology, or writing.

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any English.
