La Trobe’s Diploma of Science and Bachelor of Science (course package) gives you a direct pathway to the Bachelor of Science if you didn’t meet the entry requirements or would like additional support as you transition to university.

In the Diploma you’ll study in the same subjects and classes as Bachelor students while receiving additional support from a dedicated Senior Support Advisor.

La Trobe’s Bachelor of Science prepares you to enter the workforce equipped with both the confidence and practical skills you'll need to succeed.

Depending on your chosen majors you'll establish core scientific skills from biochemistry and data science, to physics and zoology.**

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any Mathematics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.
