University of South Australia - Magill Campus
Students will explore a range of human service organisations to understand and navigate the human service welfare infrastructure, with a specific emphasis on understanding the ageing and disability sectors service models. They will also research the human services sector to develop a deeper understanding of their roles in ageing and disability service delivery, and inter-agency work.
Students will develop sector-specific knowledge and skills, which will provide opportunities for graduates to work in both ageing and disability sectors and to provide some NDIS supported services.
Credit and accelerated pathways into higher level and self-paid employment through registration with the Developmental Educators Australia Inc (DEAI) is also an option after completing the program. Graduates may also be qualified to enter into further study at Masters level.
